By accessing or using services provided by Mark-42 Studio ("we", "us") at mark-42.co and its subdomains, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
We provide web applications and digital products. Specific features and availability may vary. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service with reasonable notice.

Content you create using our services remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your data. Our service code, design, and branding are proprietary and protected by applicable laws.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Optional analytics require separate consent.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Current service status is available at status.mark-42.co. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mark-42 Studio shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate your access for violation of these terms with notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted per our retention policy (see Privacy Policy).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nuremberg, Germany.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified 30 days in advance. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

Karandash provides client pages for project changes, updates, and milestone approvals. The pilot is free. If you choose a paid subscription after the pilot, founding-business monthly pricing and recurring billing terms are shown on the Karandash pages and before checkout. There are no per-user fees or annual contract. There is no automatic transition from the free pilot to a paid subscription.
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for Karandash subscriptions and handles subscription payments, taxes, and refunds under its applicable buyer terms. You can cancel anytime through your Paddle subscription management link or by emailing hello@mark-42.co. Cancellation stops future renewals. Our Refund Policy provides a 14-day refund on the first payment. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected by these Terms, including the governing-law clause above.
We never handle payments from your clients. Clients pay your business directly. Karandash records approvals and payment instructions; it does not guarantee that a client will pay.
You retain ownership of uploaded files and permit us to process them to provide the service. You must have authority to upload them and to provide client names and emails. The pilot stores business email, uploaded files, signing details, and view events without IP addresses or user-agent strings. Authorized support may view your uploads to prepare pages. Pilot files and associated client and view records are deleted 90 days after the last activity or on request, subject to the backup and legally required retention described in our Privacy Policy.
Pilot data is processed in US/EU cloud infrastructure using Hetzner, Cloudflare, Paddle for subscriptions, and Google Analytics only with consent. The main Karandash app outside /s/ also uses PostHog EU cloud for product usage analytics and has its own analytics setting. See our Privacy Policy for roles, purposes, and California rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out. Use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information to save your browser opt-out for mark-42.co marketing pages and the pilot pages under karandash.mark-42.co/s/; this does not control the main app's PostHog analytics.
ESIGN and state UETA laws generally recognize electronic signatures when the parties agree to transact electronically and applicable requirements are met. On the pilot pages under karandash.mark-42.co/s/, signing with an email code stores the signer name, email, time, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the document to identify the signed version. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate agreement to electronic records and signatures, providing any required disclosures and access to retained records, and checking any special formalities for your documents. Karandash is not legal advice.
